Laboratory for ultrafast physics: e-ultra
The Imlau research groups operates the laboratory for ultrafast physics at Osnabrück university equipped with pulsed laser systems and instrumentation as depicted in the figure below.
The laboratory is organized with three stations, two of them offering ultrafast spectroscopic techniques and one for temporal multiscale spectroscopy from ns to DC.
Station 1 offers sub-100 fs laser pulses (up to 4 mJ) and is equipped with instruments for
- z-scan technique
- transient absorption in the visible and near-infrared spectral ranger fs-TA-UV/VIS
- transient absorption in the mid-infrared spectral range fs-TA-MIR
- holographic ultrafast spectroscopy fs-HKS
Station 2 offers sub-10 ns laser pulses (up to 1 J) and is equipped with instruments for
- transient absorption in the visible and near-infrared spectral range
- holographic spectroscopy
- transient luminescence spectroscopy
Station 3 offers sub-35 fs laser pulses (up to 6 mJ) and is equipped with instruments for
- fs-Up-Conversion luminescence spectroscopy
- nonlinear optical spectroscopy & microscopy
- fs-spectroscopy of spin-dynamics
- fs-up-conversion transient absorption MIR spectroscopy
